Restoring the Earbuds to Factory Settings

To restore the earbuds to factory settings:

  1. On the device(s) connected to the earbuds, remove the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds from the list of paired/connected devices.
  2. In the Bose app icon , remove the earbuds from your Bose account icon
  3. With the earbuds in the charging case and the case open, press-and-hold the button on the back of the case for 20 seconds until the earbuds status lights blink white twice, slowly blink blue, and then turn off.
  4. Repeat the previous step two more times.
After the third time, the status lights blink amber for three seconds to indicate factory settings are being restored.
When the restore is complete, the status lights slowly blink blue. The earbuds are now in their original out-of-box state.
